Who am I? What am I doing in life? Well, I’m a senior at university majoring in Biology. I will graduate in June 2007 and hopefully move on to medical school. From before I can remember I have wanted to become a doctor. The only purpose I could ever see for myself in life is serving others and striving to make a positive difference. To me, this is the meaning of my life: To live to the fullest and help others to be able to do the same.

I am a shy person at first but will open up after getting to know people. I am learning more about myself and life everyday. At times my confidence wavers though it has grown to a strength that it will not fail. I love life and laughing. When I commit to something I will work incredibly hard to get it and don’t easily give up. Unless I know you and trust you completely I will not share with you what I really think or what really matters to me.

I’m an adrenaline addict and love anything that goes fast. My favorites are white water rafting, rock climbing, roller coasters, and skiing. One of the greatest passions I have ever had was for my rowing team in highschool. For fours years it was my love and life. It was during this time that I discoverd my ability to lead and the ways to support and encourage others. These lessons I will always carry with me. I can’t play any musical instruments nor speak another language though I would eventually like to do both. I would like to travel the world and am not afraid of change or challenge.

My deepest feelings and dreams are often my own and I rarely share them with even my closest friends but that is what makes them so special. I have many many flaws, things that make me special, and things I wish I could change. The most important things to me are my friends.

At 21 years old I am finally breaking away from the strings of my younger years. This journal is about my transistions, inspirations, discoveries, failures, and triumphs. For these reasons my journal is for myself and my friends only.
